True Peace

My name is Tiffany Samuels, and I am a junior here at Liberty University. I am from Baltimore, Maryland, and I am majoring in English. I am super excited about this semester; I have already seen God do so many miraculous things on my hall alone. I am also a prayer manager at the prayer center located on Dorm 13-1. The chance to serve at the prayer center is a blessing. I can see it changing the way I view prayer, by praying for people I don't even know, but knowing that God knows exactly who they are. That's pretty amazing!!!

If you don't mind, I have a verse that I would love to share with you. This has been on my heart all semester and I am so glad I get to share it with someone. John 14:27 says, "Peace, I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled. Neither let it be afraid."

I pray that you will allow Jesus to be your peace. He says it isn't of the world, so don't be fooled if you see people who claim to have the peace of the world. The True peace comes from an intimate relationship with Him who loves you so much. As humans, it is so difficult to realize that the peace we are seeking was always with us, even when we didn't feel it. Know the peace in your mind, and it will carry over to knowing that peace in your heart. Jesus is with you, even though you may not feel Him. I am so thankful for that peace, and I pray that you are as well.
